As we have always said, change is good!

When we launched Agency 86 in September of 2001, it was the right time, the right place and the right people that made the idea work. But, as we all know, times change.

While the dot.com fiasco and the Portland creative shakeout made us relevant, the slow and steady rebound from those difficult days has made the contractor-based agency model a thing of the past.

Those of us who make up Agency 86 have gone through a number of changes as well and as a result have decided to place the business on indefinite sabbatical. We'll continue to serve our tried-and-true client list as long as they'll stay, and who knows -- one day Agency 86 may return rejuvenated and reborn ready to '86 old ideas once again.
